Warren-Trumbull County Public Library biedt audiobooks

27 september 2006

The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library is introducing a new service offering downloadable digital versions of popular audio books. NetLibrary will allow patrons to download audio books via the library’s Web site at http://www.wtcpl.lib.oh.us/.There are more than 1,100 titles in the NetLibrary collection with an additional 30 titles added each month. “There’s a good selection of audio book titles from which to choose,” said Micky Burnsworth, reference department head. “From history to mysteries, NetLibrary can offer something for everyone’s listening pleasure. The titles are all unabridged, so the listener is assured that they have everything that readers are getting from the book.”

Patrons can listen to the book on their computer or transfer it to other devices, including portable music players, pocket PCs and even select smartphone devices. Patrons need a valid Warren-Trumbull Library card to download the books and their computer or portable device must support Microsoft Windows Media Player version 9.0 or above. Patrons should look in the Online Databases under “Electronic Resources” on the left side of the library’s home page.

All the audio books are on loan for 21 days. They will automatically erase themselves after that time.
